Gerry Masse has refinished 3 chairs and a table for me. The table was one of the first antiques I ever bought and has been with me for over 30 years.
That poor table has been schlepped from Kentucky to Alaska and back again. It survived college parties, puppies, babies, and finally was stored in a cold, damp garage. It was so broken and stained that I was just going to junk it. Gerry restored it back to its original beauty.
That was nothing short of magic. One of the chairs I found in a pile of garbage. The back legs were rotted from water damage and the leather seat was dry-rotted, but the chair had a lovely shape and I was going to use it as a plant stand. Gerry completely reworked it, replaced the seat, and repaired the back legs. The other two chairs were found in a junk shop.
They were painted the most hiedous green color, and had no seats. Gerry stripped them and found that both chairs had beautiful carving on the back.Gerry took these three chairs and turned them from total trash to absoute treasures. As I said before, his work is pure magic!

Thank you for restoring my Great Grand Mothers cherry rocking chair it must be over a 150 years old! I thought it wasn't repairable and you have turned back into a wonderful piece for another generation of our family to enjoy! Anita Leech |
The repair on the table made it look like new except it is over 100 years. Great job.
I never realized my China Cabinet could look so good. It was stored in the garage and since you refinished the cabinet, it has become the main focus piece in my home.
